Report on the Cheltenham signing
On behalf of Adele
The day dawned for the start of our trek down to Cheltenham.
We had promised Lyndon a signing there in his home town, as he always comes so far for us.
Only now we appreciate just how far!
We got there in time for lunch, for which we were joined by some lovely ladies from other places around the Internet.
As we were about to be served our lunch, two very suspicious looking gentlemen came into the restaurant and approached us. Luckily, it was Jason and Lyndon, who declined the offer of joining us at our rather squashed table and promised to come back for us before the signing was due to start.
We were duly collected from outside and went to have some very silly photos taken beside a statue in the pedestrian walkway. It is called The Hare and the Minotaur and has several rather interesting features.
Cheltenham is a beautiful town and I would urge anyone to go and see it if they have a chance.
The time came for the signing to start and we got our two actors settled at their table.
As usual they were very chatty and comfortable with the public and signed anything that was passed to them! We even had the pleasure of meeting Lyndon’s parents during the signing, obviously very proud of their rifleman.
We would like to thank the staff at Waterstones in Cheltenham for making us welcome and of course, to Jason and Lyndon, who once again supported us and the charity to boost sales of this popular book.
