Without doubt, this was one of the most exciting signings yet! Daragh O’Malley, Jason Salkey and Paul Bigley graced the first floor of Waterstones, Greenwich and were charming! Thanks to them for staying the course and being so gracious! A brave contingent from the 95th Rifles stood guard once again and repelled all hostile threats. Luckily, there weren’t many of those and we were all delighted by the warm reception the Chefs – some of whom had come from the USA and Europe – and our wonderful celebrity contributors received.

Many supporters from other Sharpe and related groups came to see us and bought books to have signed. Thank you all so much.

Lastly – but by no means least – our very special thanks once again to the staff of Waterstones, and especially Jayson, who prepared the ground and made us feel so welcome.

It is upon us! The June 28th signing of ‘Sharpe Chefs II – On Campaign’ is only FOUR days away!

Waterstones at Greenwich are hosting a book signing from 1 – 3 pm this Sunday. Apart from many of the Sharpe Chefs themselves from Germany to the United States, other guests will be in attendance. Daragh O’Malley, Sgt Harper), Jason Salkey (Rifleman Harris), Diana Perez (Ramona) and Paul Bigley (Rifleman Dobbs) will all be there to sign your copies of this book, in aid of ‘CHILDREN with LEUKEMIA’ and the companion volume, ‘Sharpe Chefs’, in aid of the National Osteoporosis Society. Standing guard, as ever, will be the steadfast 95th.
